  • The Syndicate shall consider these terms, classification lists, and rewards as the main principles for the actor to deal with the producing companies and institutions of art works.
  • The contract with the actor shall be on the basis of the episode.
  • The period to shoot the one hour TV dramas shall be determined at three days maximum. It shall be two days maximum for half-hour TV dramas and one day maximum for quarter-hour ones, provided that the producing party bears the costs of the additional shooting days. A 50% out of the reward given to the actor and featuring in the table shall be determined for each additional day.
  • If the producing party extends, after the montage (editing), the number of episodes to more than that approved by the contract with the actor, and if the actor appears in episodes where his presence was not approved earlier, the producing party shall be committed to pay his rewards for each additional episode.
  • The actor shall receive remuneration for his participation in each standard episode (pilot).
  • The TV working day of the actor shall be twelve hours, except the break time.
  • The movement of the actor to shoot outside the city of Beirut shall be at the expense of the producing party.
  • The institution dealing with the actor shall provide him with a life insurance, and shall be considered responsible for every damage that may happen to him, as of leaving his home until coming back there.
  • The actor shall commit (under penalties prescribed by the Syndicate) to these terms. The Syndicate shall be the good reference to settle any conflict that may occur between the actor and the producing party on the basis of the contract signed between them and what is stipulated in the terms of work and remuneration.
  • The producing party shall not be entitled to use actors not affiliated to the Syndicate. If the technical need requires so, the producing party shall demand an authorization from the Syndicate.
  • The actor shall receive 10% of his effective rewards for each episode to be broadcasted again on one of the licensed ground or satellite-based audio-visual media in the Lebanese territories.
  • Each actor that works by less than his minimum fees shall be transferred automatically to the level by which he accepted working.
  • The rewards of actors shall be determined for their appearance in TV and radio interviews (talk shows) and variety shows.
  • These tables and terms shall be effective as of March 1, 2018.
